Food waste is one of the most important problems which the international community faces.
According to the 2011 report of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) one third of world’s food production (3.1 billion tons per year) will be wasted on its way from the farm to its consumption.

One of the ways to reduce this huge waste is using PCMs in food containers to stabilise temperatures at a desired degree range during the transportation process.
PCMs used in food containers will prevent cold food from spoiling and warm food from getting too cold by stabilising temperatures and keeping them constant.
